I just recently learned about the Cat Video Festival in Minnessota, followed by a frantic online search for virtual screenings, but, even better, I found a local one in Brooklyn. This festival has apparently been happening for the past 10 years, so where have I been all this time?! Plus, there are many other screenings across the U.S., where a portion of the ticket goes to local organizations, like, in this case, the Sean Casey Animal Rescue.
The festival lasted a little over 90 minutes, and featured all sorts of genres, like drama, comedy, music videos, animation, and documentaries. I actually recognized a few clips from Reddit’s “one orange brain cell” forum. Look it up, you won’t be disappointed.
If you missed it this year, don’t worry, there’s always next time. In the meanwhile, here’s Henri 3, Le Vet, one of my favorites.
This is our feline overlord.

He’s 2 years old, and likes to stare at the rain, enjoys being cuddled like a baby, and has a lot of opinions about everything. He doesn’t really understand cat videos, but enjoy’s watching Marvel movies.
If you’re looking for more to do in Brooklyn, Prospect Park is just nearby, or head over to the NY Transit Museum.
